Overview

A multi-branch operations platform that puts live orders on a map, the kitchen ticket queue, sales by branch, staff and inventory into a single control room. It closes the gap between what is happening on the floor and what management sees, so a delayed order, a thinning stock item or an underperforming branch surfaces while it can still be fixed.

PROBLEM

The problem

A chain that runs several branches usually runs several disconnected tools with them: one app for delivery, a printer queue in each kitchen, a spreadsheet for stock and a group chat for everything else. Management sees the day only after it is over.

  • Delayed orders are discovered by the customer, not the kitchen.
  • Stock runs out in one branch while another has plenty.
  • Branch comparisons take hours of manual report work.

SOLUTION

The solution

SysaiQ built one platform on a single order model. Every order, ticket, driver and stock movement writes to the same database and is pushed live to every screen that needs it: the map, the kitchen display, the analytics view.

  • Each ticket receives an estimated prep time from its item mix and the current kitchen load, and is flagged early when it is likely to run late.
  • Inventory is tracked per branch and per ingredient; low stock in one location suggests a transfer from the nearest branch that has it.
  • An assistant answers plain-language questions about the live data and returns the chart and the rows behind it.

OUTCOME

The outcome

The business can now see every branch as one operation. A late ticket, a stock gap or a weak branch is visible while the shift is still running, so the response happens on the floor instead of in next week's meeting. Management questions are answered from live data rather than from a report someone has to build.

What makes it different

Capabilities you won't usually find in similar products

[ 01 ]

Estimated prep time per ticket

Each incoming ticket gets an estimate from its item mix and the current kitchen load, and is flagged before it runs late, not after a timer has counted up.

[ 02 ]

Cross-branch stock balancing

Stock is visible across every location in real time; a shortage in one branch suggests a transfer from the nearest branch that has it, or reroutes new orders.

[ 03 ]

Ask-your-data assistant

A built-in assistant answers plain-language questions such as which branch had the most refunds this week, and returns the chart and the underlying rows.

[ 04 ]

A live map you can act on

Hold, reassign or reroute a driver and rebalance kitchen load directly from the map; every change reaches all branches instantly.

[ 05 ]

Staff cost against live volume

Roster, clock-in status and per-shift labour cost are mapped against order volume for each branch, so over- and under-staffing show up on the same screen.

Technical approach

  • Node.js / Express API with a single order and ticket model; live updates are pushed to every open screen.
  • SQLite schema per branch, ticket, driver and stock movement, with indexes tuned for the live views.
  • Vanilla JavaScript control room: the map layer, the kitchen display and the analytics view share one data feed.
  • OpenAI API behind the ask-your-data assistant, grounded only in the business's own rows (RAG) and limited to read-only queries.
  • Role-based access so branch managers see their branch and head office sees all of them.
