Overview

A moody, photography-led landing page for a café or restaurant that turns someone scrolling late at night into a booked table. It replaces the PDF menu and the unanswered direct message with a photo-rich digital menu the owner edits from a panel, reservations that reach the owner's phone the moment they are made, and direct links to the delivery apps the venue already uses.

PROBLEM

The problem

For a café, the decision to visit is made on a phone, often from a social feed and often late in the evening. What the visitor usually finds is a menu photo from last season and a page that says “message us to book”.

  • The PDF menu is slow to open and out of date as soon as a dish or a price changes.
  • Reservation requests arrive as direct messages and are answered hours later, if at all.
  • Opening hours, location and delivery options are scattered across several accounts.
  • The venue does not show up when someone nearby searches for a café.

SOLUTION

The solution

SysaiQ built one page that sells the atmosphere first and then removes every step between wanting a table and having one.

  • The digital menu is data, not a PDF: photos, descriptions, dietary tags and prices are edited from a small panel and appear on the page at once.
  • The reservation card takes date, time and party size; the guest sees a confirmation and the owner gets an SMS alert, with every request kept in a simple list.
  • Location, opening hours, a call button and links to the venue's delivery apps sit together in one contact section.
  • An assistant answers questions about hours, ingredients, vegetarian options and parking from the venue's own information only.

OUTCOME

The outcome

The venue now has a page that works as its shop window and its reservation book at the same time. The menu is always the current one because the owner edits it directly, table requests reach the owner's phone instead of an unread inbox, and a guest can find the address, hours and delivery options without switching apps. The page is prepared for local search from the start.

Technical approach

  • Node.js / Express renders the page on the server in Persian and English, so the menu and hours are readable by search engines, with hreflang alternates per language.
  • SQLite holds menu items, categories, dietary tags and reservation requests; the owner edits them from a small admin panel.
  • Vanilla JavaScript for menu filters and the reservation card; food photography is served as responsive, lazily loaded images so the page stays fast on a weak connection.
  • OpenAI API behind the host assistant, answering only from the venue's own menu and information (RAG).
  • Reservation requests trigger an SMS alert through the configured SMS provider; structured data (JSON-LD) for a restaurant with address, hours and menu supports local search.
